As you will no doubt remember our Great British Street Party supported the charity The Upper Room and raised over £1,100 for them.
Now the West London charity, The Upper Room, which supports homeless people, has launched an appeal for what they are calling ‘Braverman Bags’.
These bags will contain an emergency survival kit for a homeless person and the charity is asking the public for a donation of £50 for a whole bag, which will include a waterproof sleeping bag, hat, gloves, food ration and hand warmer, or for any other amount people are happy to give. For example £25 could feed a homeless person for a month.
