2023-1221 - Feedback To TFL In 2023 ...

The following message has been received from TFL ..

Thank you for your feedback: highlights from 2023

As the year draws to a close, we want to express our thanks for your invaluable feedback on TfL's proposals throughout 2023.

It has been a busy year so far on Have Your Say, with 37 consultations plus numerous discussions on all manner of subjects, including bus routes in Bromley, cycling in Chiswick and walking in Wembley.

There's been over 800,000 visits to our website, haveyoursay.tfl.gov.uk, and around 20,000 of you have filled in our consultation surveys. You also contributed over 3,000 questions, forum posts, ideas and more.

Your feedback matters, because with it we’re able to make better decisions on how to progress with:

  • Bus route changes across London, including the introduction of five sections of the new Superloop service

  • New road and cycling schemes to support safer and more active travel across London, including improvements to our cycle route between Oval, Clapham, Balham and Colliers Wood, and road safety improvements in East Sheen

  • Changes to how we regulate London’s taxi and private hire services, and

  • New direct vision standards to improve heavy goods vehicle safety

  •

Throughout 2023 we’ve also been making changes to how we connect with London’s diverse communities when we consult. This includes new British Sign Language (BSL) services, improved Easy Read materials and improvements to our website.

In 2024 you’ll see us launch more consultation improvements, or trials, to help us connect with you so that you can share your feedback. Watch out for more on this in the first part of 2024.

Over the next 12 months we’ll also continue to launch new consultationsthat we’d like your ideas, thoughts, feelings, feedback and questions on. So, make sure to keep a look out for our emails and newsletters throughout 2024.

From everyone in the TfL consultation team we hope you have a restful and peaceful break over the holiday period. See you soon and wishing you all the best for 2024.

Kind regards
