Hope you are well!
I just wanted to pass on ahead of the curve what we have going on this festive period for the local community, if you could include in any newsletters for the families in Greenside/W12 that would be greatly appreciated.
Firstly, I am organising festive arts and crafts for families of all ages, every Sunday of December up to the big day. There will be different craft options available from 12-4pm for families that dine in with us, such as ornament decorating or snow-globe making.
We also have the carolling service back for a second year, with the Church of Holy Innocents Choir, acting as a fundraiser for the Upper Rooms Charity (more information: https://theupperroom.org.uk/). This was a great success last year and works out perfectly when the pub is decorated and the fire is lit, and we managed to raise a considerable amount of money for Upper Rooms too. This will be on Wednesday 17th December at around 6:30-7pm.
Our Christmas quiz was also a great hit last year, and should be great fun and interactive. This is on the 18th December at 7:30pm.
Finally, there will be an array of live music, albeit after a QPR match to keep the good vibes going. I know there are a lot of QPR supporters in the area and the music always goes down a treat with the fans.
