Dear All
I’m writing to share details of a local event that may be of interest to members of the Cathnor Park Area Action Group – particularly those in search of a fun, thoughtful day out right here in West London.
On Sunday 29 June 2025, the London MindSports Centre, Dalling Road, Hammersmith W6 0JD will host the Strategy Games Festival, a relaxed, family-friendly day of classic and modern thinking games.
Participants can try their hand at games like Chess, Go, Bridge, Shogi, Hive, Othello, and many more, with friendly guidance in each room and short intro sessions running throughout the day. The event is designed for complete beginners and casual players, aged 10 and above.
A great family outing. A gentle way to get teens off their phones. And if your football or cricketing days are behind you, a brilliant opportunity to take on a new challenge and make new friends.
Food and drink will be available from the on-site bar throughout the day.
