2022-1017 Anti-Slavery Day 2022 Community Event 18 Oct 6-8pm

Dear All

Please see details below for an event happening next Tuesday 18th  being organised by the council’s Women’s Network.

For Anti-Slavery Day 2022 there will be a community event taking place at The Nourish Hub where you can join us for a cooking demonstration led by Migrateful trained chefs and a chance to hear about H&F's work to tackle Modern Slavery.

The event will provide an evening of food, culture, and discussion as we share and learnways we can work together to make our communities (particularly migrant, refugee, and asylum seeking communities) more resilient and less vulnerable to exploitation, modern slavery, and human trafficking. Migrateful trained chefs will deliver an interactive cooking demonstration (which attendees will be able to sample). Migrateful is an organisation that empowers and celebrates refugees and vulnerable migrants on their journey to integration by supporting them to run their own cookery classes and demonstrations.

Please feel free to join us and share the event with anyone living or working in Hammersmith & Fulham who would be interested. The event is free but spaces are limited and registration is required via Eventbrite: Anti-Slavery Day 2022 | H&F Community Cooking Demo led by Migrateful Chefs Tickets, Tue 18 Oct 2022 at 18:00 | Eventbrite

For those of you who do not know, the Nouris Hub is at Unit A, Nourish Hub, Swanscombe House, 1 St Ann's Rd, London W11 4SS

Kind regards,
