The Met Police would like to share with you information on a new platform they are using called Met Engage. This new platform will be used rather than Nextdoor and X (Twitter).
Officers will have been visiting residents over the coming weeks and delivering flyers and signing people up to this new platform. Attached is one of the flyers for you to view.
They are happy to share this information with residents and sign up is a simple process online.
Met Engage allows residents to receive the latest updates from the Met straight to their inbox. Through the new platform Met Engage you can get to know your local officers; help shape how they police your local area and have direct access to key information and advice. Met Engage is a free messaging service that keeps you connected to what’s happening in your area. Whether its crime updates, safety advice, or news from your local policing team, you’ll get the information that matters to you — when it matters most.
This isn't just a platform for us to tell you what they are doing in your area, it's an opportunity for you to tell them what's concerning you most so they can take action on the things that truly matter to you.
